From preschoolers to high-schoolers to adults, St. John’s wide array of Faith Formation programs offer parishioners of all ages opportunities to continue to grow in the Catholic faith.

Religious Formation – K-8th Grade

Class for preschool, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten on Sunday mornings during the 10 AM mass September through April. Each month the children learn a song that they sing for the congregation during the 10 AM mass on the last Sunday of each month!

First through eighth grade students meet on Wednesdays from 6:45 PM to 8:00 PM September through April. Children in 2nd grade prepare for their First Reconciliation and First Eucharist, while 8th graders prepare for the sacrament of Confirmation.

Summer: We also offer vacation bible school (VBS) for children ages 3 years through 5th grade.

Our volunteer teachers are committed to sharing their faith with the youth of our parish.

Youth Group – 9-12th Grade

Students in high school attend youth group throughout the school year.

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)

BECOMING A CATHOLIC

Every fall, adults interested in learning more about the Catholic faith and discerning if they will fully join the Church gather to begin the process of RCIA. They meet regularly with lay leaders and the priest. The group moves in stages or steps toward Lent and the Easter Vigil when the Sacraments are bestowed on those seeking to join the Church.
